Bird Watching
PerriHouse is on a 2 acres of a voluntary bird sanctuary and is surrounded by another 15 acres of grassy fileds, pine, oak and fruit trees. A short list of on site birds over the last 24 months:

Red Shoulder Hawk, Kites, Owls, Osprey, Wild Turkey, Egret, Cranes, Bob Whites, Martins, Sparrows, Herons and more!

If the local 2 acres and surrounding fields are not enough for your birding or nature apatites then just scoot 3 miles north of our driveway and you are at the Tibet Butler Preserve!
The Preserve covers 439 acres along the southwest shore of Lake Tibet-Butler in Orange County. The vegetative communities include major areas of Bay Swamp, Pine Flatwoods and Wetland Forested Mixed and smaller areas of Xeric Oak, burned trees, Coniferous Plantation, Cypress, Pond Pine, Freshwater Marsh and Emergent Aquatic Vegetation.
